Our common goal of improving the quality of public debate in Poland by spreading knowledge about disinformation and fighting fake news online has led us to join forces with CyberDefence24.pl (Defence24 Group).

We have joined forces with Radio ZET before the parliamentary elections. Our analysts have verified the statements of politicians giving interviews, including in the Radio ZET program “Gość Radia ZET”.

Due to the Partnerhip Program, our selected and important analyses also appear on Onet, which allows us to reach millions of readers of this portal with verified and reliable information.

Third-Party Factchecking Program. Within this program, we verify the credibility of content posted by Facebook and Instagram users. Content labeled as false receives reduced reach, thereby preventing the dissemination of fake news on the platforms.

We also employ the Brand24 tool for internet monitoring to search for particularly harmful and misleading information.

SentiOne, or internet monitoring. Together, we uncover the truth encoded in the data.

Together, we unveil anti-Ukrainian content on social media. Since 2000, IMM has been supporting brands, companies, individuals, and institutions in effectively measuring and reporting communication results across all media.

Specialized media monitoring analysts create personalized reports on our collaborative efforts. Thanks to them, #AboutMediaWeKnowEverything.

Demagog Association is among the 16 organizations collaborating with TikTok within the global fact-checking program. Consequently, we have become the first Polish organization to engage in cooperation with TikTok in this field.

We are collaborating with the Department of International and Political Studies on the project “Popularity of conspiracy theories and false information about the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine. Nationwide representative survey research”.

In collaboration with the Institute for Discourse and Dialogue, we run the “School of NGO Digital Responsibility” project. It aims to equip NGO representatives with knowledge and skills in media education, critical thinking, and the verification of information sources.

EDMO brings together, among other entities, a group of ten European organizations as part of the fact-checking network.

We are the first organization in Poland to be part of the International Fact-Checking Network. Established in 2015 at the Poynter Institute, the IFCN membership guarantees our integrity and independence. As signatories, we are committed to adhering to the Code of Principles.

Demagog Association was a part of the consortium that in collaboration with other organizations have developed the Code setting the highest standards in terms of methodology, transparency and ethics of fact-checking organizations. We have also co-created the international organization – European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN). We are its member since 2023.
