Małgorzata is the founder and President of the Demagog Association, Poland’s first watchdog fact-checking organization. She is an expert in combating disinformation and advancing the development of fact-checking in Poland. She has extensive experience leading a team of nearly 40 staff members and volunteers who verify false information and implement projects promoting reliable information in public debate.

She specializes in designing and implementing effective strategies to counter disinformation, building and maintaining relationships with external partners, and developing innovative approaches to fact-checking in Poland.

Małgorzata graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University. She is the founder of the Fact-checking Academy, a series of workshops focused on media literacy, and frequently participates as an expert and panelist at conferences on new media and online disinformation.

As an educator, she conducts workshops on disinformation and critical thinking for a wide range of audiences, including young people, university students, and business professionals. Her work contributes to building a society that is more aware of and resilient to online manipulation.

She is the recipient of the Digital Shapers 2022 award in the Education category, recognizing her contribution to the development of media literacy and her effective efforts to combat disinformation in the public sphere.
