Marcin has been working at the Demagog Association since May 2024. He is the winner of the first edition of the Weryfikaton competition. His work focuses on verifying whether politicians’ statements align with facts and on monitoring disinformation on TikTok.

As part of the Fact-checking Academy, he conducts workshops and training sessions on countering disinformation and strengthening digital literacy.

He graduated in political science as well as journalism and social communication from the Jagiellonian University. During the Erasmus programme, he studied at the University of Padua.

His academic interests include political communication, fact-checking, and sports diplomacy. He closely follows political and social narratives surrounding major sporting events. He is also a co-author of the book “Mundial w Katarze. Polityczne rozgrywki na piłkarskiej murawie” (The World Cup in Qatar: Political Games on the Football Field) and previously hosted programmes on UJOT FM, the university radio station.

Outside of work, Marcin is a football fan and an avid reader, particularly of reportage. He collects election posters and leaflets and photographs political street graffiti.
