Mateusz has served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the Demagog Association since 2026. A journalist by training and a fact-checker by vocation, he graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

He has been professionally involved in journalism since 2018, when he began working as a reporter at Radio Emaus in Poznań. In 2021, Mateusz joined Demagog as an analyst in the disinformation editorial team, where he focuses primarily on online scams and conspiracy theories.

He is the author of the series “Z kamerą wśród spisków” (Among Conspiracies with a Camera), which explores unusual and lesser-known conspiracy theories from around the world. He also co-hosts the Demagog Podcast and produces video content for the organization’s social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok.

As part of the Fact-checking Academy, Mateusz has trained audiences of all ages (from primary school students to seniors) on disinformation and media literacy. He has also conducted workshops for local journalists ahead of the 2023 parliamentary elections, as well as training sessions for PR professionals and international students.
