Professionally, Piotr works in the field of data and social research, specializing in designing and conducting mixed-method research, analyzing raw data, and working with publicly available information sources.

Since 1999, he has been associated with various public opinion research institutes, where he has coordinated dozens of research projects for clients across multiple sectors, including social research conducted in cooperation with European Union institutions. He oversees the full research cycle, from research design and survey tools, through supervision of fieldwork, to data analysis and reporting of results. He regularly presents research findings in both Polish and English, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.

His professional experience also includes consulting on projects monitoring the effectiveness of international organizations. In these roles, he was responsible for data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting in environments where information credibility and resilience to disinformation have real social and political consequences.

He has an interdisciplinary education in sociology, psychology, and economics, gained at institutions including the University of Warsaw, the Polish Academy of Sciences, Lancaster University, and Columbia University. His interests focus on the social challenges of the digital era, at the intersection of psychology, sociology, and decision-making under uncertainty. Where algorithms meet emotions and information meets disinformation, he sees the greatest need for responsible fact-checking.
