Aleksy is an anthropologist, new media researcher, and philosopher. He has been working with the Demagog Association since 2021 and currently coordinates international projects such as AI4TRUST, Hatedemics, and initiatives focused on climate disinformation.
At the same time, he is a PhD candidate at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where he studies the impact of contemporary open collaboration communities, particularly OSINT collectives, on the conflict in Ukraine, combining theoretical research with practical experience.
Aleksy has delivered lectures at the University of Warsaw, Adam Mickiewicz University, and SWPS University, and has led workshops for organizations such as the School of Digital Responsibility, as well as for journalists and business representatives.
He is a researcher at the HAT Center and has participated in the DFRLab Digital Sherlocks program and the Digital Methods Initiative Summer School. He also completed the international CREOLE program and conducted research as part of the OPUS grant from the National Science Centre and the REDACT project.
He has spoken at numerous conferences and events, including EU DisinfoLab, ARIJ, and ERGA meetings. He has also appeared in podcasts and is the author of reports as well as academic and popular science publications.
