Piotr has been tracking misinformation in public debate and verifying statements made by politicians since April 2020.

He is a PhD candidate in philosophy at the Jagiellonian University, where he focuses on social epistemology and the challenge of identifying reliable experts. He previously studied cognitive science, and his master’s thesis examined the problem of responsibility for false beliefs.

Piotr has spoken at numerous professional conferences, including Global Fact 11 Sarajevo, the Polish Security Congress 2025, and Turn Off Disinformation: Digital Activism Accelerator, as well as academic events such as Law & Cognitive Science and Cognitive Collisions. He continues to develop his expertise through practical, philosophical, and psychological training programs.

He also conducts media literacy workshops as part of the Fact-checking Academy and has extensive experience working with students, teachers, and academic audiences.

Piotr is a co-author of the innovative educational materials “Fake kNOw More: From Emotions to Resilience Against Disinformation,” which explore topics such as self-awareness, cognitive biases, and critical thinking.

He is particularly interested in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant and contemporary analyses by Neil Levy. In his free time, he enjoys dancing bachata and shuffle dance.
